A poem really doesn't
Have to be grammatically good
Spelled out
Nor does each line
Need rhythm or rhyme
No need for exactly
Five syllables at the end
No need, no need at all
For repeating repetition
TO WRITE
WITH CAPITAL LETTERS
Is not necessity
And run on sentences that never end
And just don't stop
And keep on going
Are all welcomed by me!
To
Pause after three
Or four
Words
Just adds to your frustration
And you tie your tongue in knots
With all and any alliteration
A poem is and that is all
It really needn't be anything new
All it is
Is my heart revealed
An expression of me
Now shared with you
